On Monday, February 27th, our students will hear an energetic presentation given by Dinosaur George and will be able to tour the traveling museum during their specials period. Students will have an opportunity to visit the gift shop during their classroom tour, however only students with money and pre-filled order forms will be allowed to visit the gift shop during the school day. An order form will be sent home prior to the museum visit.
Families, we invite you to visit the traveling museum too! From 5:00-6:30 pm that evening, we invite our students and their families back up to Fielder to participate in literacy night (hosted by Fielder staff). Literacy night is an opportunity for students and families to further their love of literacy (this year with a nonfiction emphasis). The museum will be available to tour and the gift shop will be available for families to visit in the evening.
This event is made possible for the generous financial support of Fielder PTA, families, and community members! This will be the 2nd time Fielder PTA has been able to bring Dinosaur George to campus and has quickly become a student and staff favorite.
